  1. What was the easiest part of setting up your Wix account?

Since I already had an Eportfolio for a previous class, I curated for the Eportfolio Part 1 assignment. However, the easiest part of curating would have to be replacing my earlier pictures with up-to-date pictures of myself. I didn't have to touch most of the About Me and my Resume; I just updated and refreshed the information last put on this Eportfolio.

  2. What was the most challenging part of setting up your Wix account?

The most challenging part of curating my Wix account was reviewing and re-reading the previous assignments to decide whether to keep or delete them. I decided to start fresh and delete my past assignments, seeing that they were outdated and the information had changed over the past year.

  3. How confident do you feel in your professional or online presence at this time?

In the past, I struggled to understand how Wix worked. It took me days of contemplating and reviewing every aspect of my E-Portfolio to make it the best possible. However, I can confidently say that I understand the elements of Wix now and can complete, update, and incorporate these understandings into my e-portfolio to make it perfect.

  4. Reflection on Leadership: What is your best experience with a leader (either work or personal experience)? What characteristics did you appreciate about their approach?

I have had numerous good experiences with leaders, whether in work or personal experience. I could name countless people who helped me become a strong leader and incorporate their words and practices into my own. However, if I had to name one, it would be my father. My dad has been my coach, trainer, boss, and best friend. It may sound complicated how he could be all those things. Still, he has shown me what characteristics make a strong leader, whether it be taking the initiative in school, work, etc., or being able to not only command but understand other people, not to take no for an answer when you want something and being able to hold yourself and others accountable for their actions. These characteristics and numerous more have helped me grow into a person that not only others look to for help but also vice versa; without the guidance from my father, I would not be able to learn what I have from others but also be the person I am today.

  5. Reflection on Events: Describe an event you attended that was poorly managed (ex., Concert, graduation, festival, perhaps even a wedding?) What about the event was troubling? Did the event staff manage the problems (in your observations)? What would you have done differently?

My cousin's wedding was a poorly managed event that I attended in the past. I say this not because the event staff managed the problems poorly but because they were nonexistent or not around when needed. The main reason for this was because there wasn't enough event staff. They did what they could with their numbers, but when a problem arose, my mom, many other parents, and family members had to step in to help those who needed it. If I had done anything differently, it would have been to hire more people and have individuals who could not only multi-task but be aware of events where things wouldn't work out as they were initially planned.

  6. What questions do you have at this stage of the eportfolio project?

I don't have any questions at this stage of the e-portfolio project. I feel prepared to handle the following assignments, which will be assigned throughout this course.
